Ritos Mexican Restaraunt in Aurora

I was never a big fan of sangria until I tried it at Rito's. Now I'm hooked! Great atmosphere and food is always good. I have my three favorites: 1. Shrimp fajitas 2. Carne asada gratinada 3. Enchiladas de mar. the place is hidden - looks small from the outside but you'll be surprised when your inside. They make their own guacamole fresh in front of you! And it is really good! Give this place a try - you will not be disappointed.

Food is very good the $5 margaritas on Thursdays can't be beat. The young man who goes around the restaurant making guacamole is very funny and his guac is fantastic... Tip him, he deserves it !

Had the Mega burrito; it was great. Lots of people, great food, atmosphere and price!

This place is hands down my favorite! I drive 55 minutes from mount prospect once a week to dine here (sometimes twice). Best Margaritas around hands down! My favorite food here is mochajete bowl or the red snapper (entire fish with the head) and the pork fajitas! Flaming cheese is also a great appetizer! Flaming margaritas hit the spot! 2 your threw! Extremely reasonably priced compared to other mexican restaurants! The staff. Food. Margaritas and many fun memories keep having me come back! Lovvvvvvve Ritos!!!🌮🍹

Meh.. almost average. Good thing I got mine to go so I could go home and dress it up once I opened it. Ordered steak nachos and there weren't even tomatoes or cilantro or really anything on them. If you're looking for mediocre, this is it.

Definitely a hidden gem, and I have been here a thousand times with my Polish brother from another mother for a Mancheon, and we've never had bad food or service. Ever. A definite hidden gem with some great Mexican food and margaritas. Highly recommended so stop on by! 💪

Food was amazing. The atmosphere was stellar and the service was astonishing. Highly recommend. It can get crowded quickly so be prepared but it's worth it.

Typically food is ok I do have some worry of this place being a kitchen nightmare tho as today I tried a chili reano and it was literally flat I have cooked better at home honestly. The food seems to be slipping in quality from the time I started coming here

There were 6 of us last Saturday. First enjoyed margaritas, then ordered lunch. Lots of different choices. We all had something different. My mega burrito was great. I will be back. Service was perfect. They continually filled your water glasses (without even having to ask!). Best Mexican in Aurora. This place is off the beaten path and well worth it. Solid overall menu, but the freshly made guacamole and the gigantic margaritas are the highlights to this place.

Best margaritas in town hands down but make sure you're not driving because they are incredibly strong.

Descent Mexican restaurant with a big focused on selling you alcoholic beverages. The food was just ok. When they first opened up their food quality and quantity was better. I think that they are concentrating too much on the bar side because of the higher profits and totally neglecting the kitchen. I would only go there for lunch, and only if I'm in the area because the food is priced more appropriately. The dinner portions are too small for what they charge. I also thought that the service was kind of slow considering that they only had 3-4 tables. The food took longer than most Mexican restaurants to come out.

Best Mexican restaurant I ever got dinner.

I had the steak burrito and the meat was seasoned but I didn't like the sauce poured over it. I wish they had asked if I wanted it on the side or I would have done without it. It made my burrito soggy which I hate. Other than that, it's your regular refried beans and rice. It wasn't the best but wasn't horrible either. I'll come again and try the tacos instead.

I see a lot of people giving reviews. Of coarse we all have different tastes. This place to me was not tasty . Everything I ordered was not great. Maybe because I’m not use to Mexican suburban food. North side Chicago food is the best. Customer service is great and the concept of the location is great. I can see how great of a vibe is at night. The music is great too and relaxing for me . I can’t complain . If I’m out here and come here maybe to have some drinks.Suerte. 🍀

One of The reasons I love this place, is because it is literally five minutes away from my employer. And Thursday nights is $5 margarita night and $6 for the flavored margaritas. The food is average priced, I have never had any issues with anything I've ordered. The winner here are the margaritas however. For five dollars get a very large glass filled with 27 ounces of deliciousness, usually one is all I need. It can get quite busy and sometimes you have to wait for a table if don't get there early enough for dinner. This is a definite try if you are in the Aurora area. The locals love it, you will too!

Food is not good at all. They are known for margaritas and those are also terrible. Salsa... bad too. Will not return and would not recommend. They also add 4% to your bill “to pay with credit card”. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

They have Indio and it's good. That's all that matters.

Great service and food that really hits the spot when in the mood for some good Mexican tastes. Really enjoy going here with family or to grab a drink or 2 with friends.

Excellent food. 4 stars because we felt our waiter wasn't attentive to us. We needed more napkins and refills on our drinks but could not find our waiter. Just a small detail on service. Otherwise excellent flavor in the dishes we ordered. Thank you

We normally order from here preferentially. Love their enchiladas mole. We order more via phone than eat in; this is important to the review.I just tried to call in an order for takeout, but no one answered the phone and it went to voicemail. I knew they were open so I thought their phones were down. However I go by and tell them that they hate your phones are down and they say no we’re not taking phone orders tonight. However they were going to let me order at the register. I’m curious why they thought it was OK to not answer the phone. It’s terrible custome service. Why do you want me to wait in the restaurant when I can place an order over the phone. You weren’t that busy. I will be seriously rethinking anytime I want to order from Rito‘s.There will be a new place at 111 and 159 that I will try so that will likely be my go to after Taco Fresco since Rito’s couldn’t be bothered tonight.

Service and food! Tables were not clean..had old salt and pepper shakers on tables that were filthy.

Lively restaurant with great food and attentive service. Brought a bucket of salsa out when we asked for more. Get one of the Margaritas. Loud music and lots of laughter. The staff know how to make you feel welcomed and at home!

The service was great friendly staff, they do table side guacamole it was very tasty, the margaritas come in 3 sizes, and the food is good as well but if you go there on a holiday call first cause there can be a 2hr wait. The weekend can be a bit crowded as well, but I think you will enjoy this place because I did I will be back

Great margaritas! We have stopped in sometimes just for chips & salsa & a big margarita. Their mole enchiladas are fantastic and my fiancee favorite. The rest of the menu is all very good with lots of authentic Mexican dishes. The only reason this is not getting the full 5 stars is that we have had slow service on many occasions some with just the two of us and with groups.

I love this place! Flaming margaritas are the way to go! As for food, my faves are the Molcajete bowl or fajitas (chicken, steak or both !) I have introduced many friends to Rito’s since I learned about them from a recommendation. The staff is always friendly and attentive. I feel like family when I go. Loyal customer here!

My family loves coming to this authentic Mexican restaurant. Tableside making of guacamole is a hit for the whole family. Our favorite dish is the baked chicken seasoned with olive oil and tons of garlic on top. The tamales are also very good. The enchiladas could use a little bit more seasoning. Steak tacos are always amazing. The kids will never let us leave without trying the fried ice cream. Service is excellent, with the wait staff never letting your cup run empty.

Got cheese enchiladas chicken tacos, and the beef tamales, disappointed , tamales were dry and the tacos got so dry if you didn’t eat right away. rice and beans were decent, the fried ice cream was nasty, it was so soggy and chewy,

The best around! The flaming margarita is worth going alone, however take it easy!!! Everything on the menu is solid from the burritos to chimichangas and salsas. One of my favorite places!

Margaritas are watered down food is ok I've had better and my table had horrible service. Would not return.

Service is not great. And I'm not exaggerating the guacamole maker spent 20 minutes just talking with a table while other tables were sitting waiting. Even the table next to me got really upset. Fajitas are good and so is the guacamole but this is not a place that I will be coming back to.

We loved the giant cocktails. Lots of food for the money. Easy parking. Service was perhaps a little slow, but did not rush us as we lingered to finish those giant cocktails.

Flaming Margaritas are Powerful, suggesting 1 per person.

Went there July 30, 2019, The wife and I both had the Mexican skirt steak which tasted absolutely spoiled we sent it back the owner came out and was not please we told him we just didn’t care for it and would like something else as a result we did order enchilada dinners. When finished we asked for our bill and could not believe they charge us for the skirt steak dinner so as not to make a scene we paid the bill and left. Would definitely not recommend anybody eating there, they showed no professional courtesy to us. We told the owner that we have eaten there numerous times before and never had any complaints before with their skirt steak he will not be seeing us in the near future. Sign “ A very happy customer”
